This past weekend, Alexander Trinidad 3rd Dan representing the Gibraltar Taekwondo Association, competed at the 2010 British Taekwondo Control Board Championships, held in Manchester UK, amongst many of the British Top World Class players. Alex, competed in the under 72kgs category and was coached by John Harrison 4th Dan from the Royal Navy. John Harrison has previously visited Gibraltar, when a Seminar was held for his team from the Royal Navy. The 1st round finished at 1-0 to his opponent. At the second round, Alex took full control and the score finished at 5-3 to Alex. Unfortunately during the 3rd round Alex lost at 13-8. The Gibraltar Taekwondo Association would like to take this opportunity to thank Alex for his participation at the recent event and John Harrison for his time spent coaching Alex.
